Hailing from Long Island, New York, DJ GROOVE GURUS got his start like so many DJs before him—playing for friends at parties. Thanks to hard work and a job he landed with an event production company, Digital was opened up to a world of performing opportunities. For over a decade he has DJed for bars, clubs, and special events in New York, Orlando, and all over the East Coast.

DJ GROOVE GURUS is an open format DJ, so nothing is off limits when he performs. He brings together hip-hop, reggae, rock, freestyle, and more to get the crowd amped and the dancing hot.

While touring the North American festival scene in the mid to late 2000’s, We was drawn to the live stages and grew to love the sound of California bands, as well as the sacred and ceremonial music he discovered while traveling in Latin America. From there he transitioned to world fusion sounds (his current main style), inspired by fellow Interchill artists.

Not long after, he got deep into West Coast inspired midtempo bass sounds while producing a night called Groove Box, and also became one of Canada’s foremost proponents of playing freestyle for Ecstatic Dance and Yoga events.
